WASHINGTON, D.C. – In order to create more transparency and openness during the legislative process, Congressman Jason Chaffetz has issued copies of the 1,990-page health care bill in selected libraries around Utah’s 3rd Congressional District.
“It is important for constituents to have the opportunity to see firsthand a printed version of the massive 1,990-page trillion-dollar government takeover of health care,” said Chaffetz. “I am here to represent Utah to Washington and not Washington to Utah. Reading and seeing a printed version of the bill in local libraries will help more Utahns have the opportunity to understand the implications of Washington’s one-size-fits-all federally-controlled health care bill.”
